Broken highways and crumbling buildings are all that are left.  No longer do you hear the overhead roar of a plane, the screeching of the subway train on the tracks, car horns or sirens.  Lost are the murmurs of people and the clack, clack, clack of high heels on the pavement.  What happened here?  Only the concrete remains to tell the tale.

Concrete Jungle

  • Acrylic paints on stretched canvas.  Fully finished with high gloss varnish to protect the painting.   The painting is 30 inches tall by 40 inches wide and 1 inch deep.

Plaster is used under the paint to create an interesting texture on the canvas.  Watch the video to see a close up of the textures.

This piece represents a city wall that has witnessed much over the years.  There is damage, yes, but it has survived the jungle while many other things have not.
