She never believed she would be hiking on a glacier, in 40 mph winds, with a cracked rib, taking in all the beauty and wonder of Iceland.  A vacation that would not have been physically possible for her just a few years ago.  Through sheer perseverance, she was determined to be there.  The woman, a reflection of the land of fire and ice.  Fire in her soul, and nerves of ice to push through it all to realize her dream.

Fire and Ice

I loved working with the contrast of fire and ice.  I like how they are reaching out towards each other, but never touching.  Anytime I think of these two, Iceland comes to mind.  So, I share with you my experience in the land of ice and fire.
